About ThisChord
Founded in 2024 by award-winning photographer Daniel, the eye behind db Cxptures,
ThisChord was established on the core belief that music brings people together. Built from day one to be a community for music lovers, it has grown rapidly into a safe space where people share, create, and connect through sound. Every session and conversation is shaped by the people who show up for it. Whether you make music, simply listen to it, or you are just curious about the making of it, ThisChord is the place for you.
Music Social Club
At the heart, ThisChord operates as a 'book club' but the subject matter is music. It is a safe space where people gather to listen to albums, artists, curated playlists and genres, engaging in thoughtful discussions about the stories and emotions behind the music. It’s a place to celebrate the artistry of sound, delve into its cultural impact, and share personal reflections.
Synergy
In addition to the listening room experience, ThisChord also thrives as a creative hub where artists can connect directly with their audience, hosting intimate performances, workshops, and sit down style talks. By championing the importance of physical spaces in an increasingly digital world, ThisChord creates an environment where face-to-face interactions create relationships and inspire collaboration.
Passion
Daniel’s vision for ThisChord reflects his passion for art and people. With his keen eye for detail and storytelling as a photographer, he has crafted a space where music, creativity, and community intertwine seamlessly. Whether you're a die-hard fan, a casual listener, or even an artist,
ThisChord invites you to pull up a chair, join the conversation, and discover the magic of music, together.
